EKKLESIA JOURNEY

We are moved by a cause, some for liberty and freedom; some for justice and equality; others from conviction of conscience.  I am moved from the scene  of Golgotha, and the sword pieced side of Jesus Christ.  From this inner sight of the Saviour flows my devotion and service.  His cause is my cause, his mission my mission, His name my honour, his glory my purpose, His kingdom my home.  Veiled in flesh His beauty Is revealed by the Spirit and quickened in life’s journey.  To God be all glory tis the cause that every saint will follow and be found labouring in the field of the world over the souls of men.

  1. Well said Tim.

    Some of my own thoughts:
The very notion that the Creator of the universe would send His own Son to rescue us is mind boggling. Not only was it the greatest rescue plan this side of eternity, He literally restored us to the Father’s originally intended state and purpose through reconciliation.

    Original state of man
He created us in His image, His likeness, holy, blameless and above reproach. No guilty, no shame, no fear, no doubt, no self-centredness, only pure love, complete fulfillment and joy. That is what we have been restored to if we dare believe the totality of His word.

    Original purpose of man
He walked with man in the midst of the garden, visiting him every day. He was with man when he named all that He created for him. He enjoyed sweet fellowship together with man. Man was content and complete in Him. That perfect union and intimate communion has now been restored forever.

We His people now have the privilege and honour to shine for Him and reveal His glory to mankind. As Peter said, we are to sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks us a reason for the hope that is in us.
